The Islamic State & Nusra Front have been holding at least 21 Lebanese soldiers & police since early August—when they battled the country’s army for control of the northeastern town of Arsal. Violence Against Refugees Erupts in Lebanon:LEBANON (CCTV 09/14) More violence against Syrian refugees was reported out of northern Lebanon on Thursday. The Lebanese army said it conducted a raid on suspected militants inside a refugee camp while unknown attackers set fire to tents at another camp. Some local residents told a different story saying the army set the fires.
